He's not going "Bruuuuuuuuuce," he's actually booing...

Bruce Springsteen made the cover of Rolling Stone recently. Ho hum, how relevant...

Sorry...I'm not really a Springsteen fan; I liked him a lot better when he was the quintessential Jersey beach rat singing songs like Rosalita, before he got it in his head that he was Woody Frickin' Guthrie (Dave Marsh and Jon Landau have a lot to answer for).

Get a load of that receding hairline, though...

After a bit of tweaking (and a major website breakdown), my podcast page is back up and running. Just plunk your li'l old electric twanger right here...

At The Movies

I just finished watching two movie rentals and I want to recommend them both: Death Of A President is the much-ballyhooed pseudo-documentary about the "assassination" of George W., or at least a dramatization of how such an event might play out. The usage of the president and other real-life figures gives the film a certain compelling urgency, and it brings up some legitimate questions about due process and the rights of the accused.
Then there's Color Me Kubrick, the true-ish story of a gay eccentric who cruised the London bar circuit in the early nineties, passing himself off as a certain reclusive film director, in return for drinks and companionship. Trust me: the first five minutes will make you laugh out loud.

Check out both these puppies by all means.
