Immigrant Song

My pal Holland Cooke recently had some things to say about the immigration issue and how it has played out on what remains of "talk radio."

With due respect to Holland, I am of the opinion that the immigration “debate” has been one of the worst things to happen to “talk radio,” or what remains of it; it has become, like abortion and gun control, one of those topics where you’re guaranteed to get “organized” callers, with pre-fed talking points (always on one side, never the other) and that has made for some of the most godawful radio of recent years (and that's saying a lot).
