Hope That's Not An Oncoming Train...
After a long, dry spell, I've recently received a number of inquiries from radio stations expressing interest in discussing "future employment possibilities." The latest, from a market in the Northwest, came Friday. Economically speaking, the worst may indeed be over, if this is any indication. Wish me luck - I'll keep you posted.
In the meantime, enjoy this neat song about about some people who died, from the author of The Basketball Diaries...

Jim -- Assuming you're the Jim Walsh (a common enough name) who posted a comment on Jay Trachman's death on Radio-Info.com on Saturday night, would you be good enough to contact me via e-mail: josimo60@hotmail.com I'm a high school classmate of Jay's, last saw him and his wife after our class reunion in 2006, and would very much like to send her a card. I lack a couple of key pieces of information, and thought you perhaps could help (or might know someone who knew him/them recently) I couldn't respond on the Radio-Info Web site, despite my attempt to register there.
With regards and thanks, Joel Simons (NYC)
