Sic Transit

I don't really have much to say about the passing of the Pope. Was he a Man For All Seasons who courageously faced down an evil empire, lived to see its fall, and touched the lives of millions, Catholic or otherwise, with his message of peace and brotherly love? Or was he a terrible anachronism, a reactionary who did more harm than good?

He was both.

He was neither.

He was large - he contained multitudes.
