Few things in this world are more amusing than the sight of humorless, self-important bureaucrats making total fools of themselves (unless it's the sight of media suckups fawning over their humiliated government heroes).
Fewer things are more dangerous to one's well-being than being the person who triggers such foolery.
Make no mistake about it - the arrest of those two guys in the wake of the whole Boston fiasco has nothing to do with homeland security and everything to do with the authorities' pathetic attempt to save face (like there's any left to save).
A poster at the Reason blog said it best: The worst crime imaginable is to expose the incompetence of the state.
